Too bad we didn’t beat the caps to Zac Funk he is really a having an interesting year but Stefan’s numbers show promise too. Would be a great story if he can achieve success in Edmonton.

I wonder how Stefan looked in Sens camp last year. Either way more forward prospects and depth is good.

Can't wait to see how Lachance does turning pro, he's having a great year in college this year. Assuming he wants to turn pro.

Has some nice numbers.

I always like guys with great shots and the ability to sneak into space in the offensive zone. Sounds like his skating will need to improve.

Why was not he drafted? Holland traded all the picks. He'd better be signing a ton of good free agents out of college and Europe.

I know nothing about this player but sounds like a toffoli type, curious to see if he translates his junior success to pro

Edit: seems to be a better offensive player than our old first rounder Reid schaeffer should be a good add to the system

"An inventive and practical winger though he isn’t the flashiest skater. Posture also limits his ability to be cerebral or powerful, and he lacks agility and speed. Still has enough functionality to be effective. Less than dynamic at filling a lane or striding in a linear path, but he can accelerate when given space. Sensible when it comes to getting the most out of the wing position. Able to set up proactive plays for space, but stumbles to combine all the layers together to make an impact. Effective at hiding in plain sight, which makes him dangerous. Good sense of the forecheck. Patient when it comes to taking shots, but only shoots when he has a clear shot. Accurate shot and it’s rarely blocked by opposing defenders. Still needs to shoot more often to build up that much needed confidence. He’s quick to get rid of the puck, and struggles to receive passes on the backhand. On the positive side, his soft hands come in handy on the power play, as he’s able to move the puck on to his open teammates in front. Reliable and standard platform skills that allow him to remain in position and add pressure on the defense. Does tend to float and become seemingly disengaged. Has to be more consistent and work at fine-tuning the all-around player skillsets."

Oilers are long overdue for someone like this to breakout for the team. Watched some of his highlights and I can see why 6-8 teams were interested in signing him. Great shot, decent stick handling, stocky frame helps him keep puck control, seems to spend a lot of time infront of the net, showed some physicality too. Decent tool kit, hopefully it translates.

Welcome to the organization James!
