With Dowell at camp, the Habs have a little Wisconsin connection going on. Back when Bourque was in his Senior year at Wisconsin, Dowell was a Freshman and Tom Gilbert was a Sophmore. The next season, Bourque leaves for the NHL and Drewiske joins Gilbert and Dowell. They would later go on to win a National Championship together in Gilbert's Senior year. The following season Blake Geoffrion joined them, if not for the injury we would likely have another former Wisconsin Badger. Of course there's another Wisconsin U player but it's best to forget he was once a Hab.
