Have heard per TSN that Jagrs phone hasn't been ringing?!?! Would love him in Edmonton on a one year contract!!!! Mentor McJesus for a year to let him know what it's like to be one of the best players on the planet, and as strange as it sounds I still think he would do better than more than half of the free agents out there.

Top 3 NHL point leaders of all time!!!
Gretzky
Jagr
Messier

Seems only fitting he gets at least one year in Oiler silks...

Eventually if all goes right we see MCJESUS on this list!!!!!

McDavid and Jagr on the same line would look ridiculous. Jagr is slow as hell. He can still keep hold of the puck and create space well, but not a fit for neither McDavid or Draisaitl.

Jagr

Have enjoyed having him in Florida but he has slowed down skating wise. Has been great for Panther's like Barkov & Huberdeau but time for them to blossom without him...take advantage of their speed and wall work Jagr taught them.

Doubt he will take $1 million...last year he made $3.0 + $1.5 in bonuses.

1 million 1 year.

Totally fine with it.

He can play on 3rd line with RNH and just relax.
He hasn't signed with Florida likely over money at the moment.

There's no way he takes only 1 million. Jagr not top 6 is worthless, and at top 6 he's slow.

I caution anyone's imagination: don't think Jagr is useful unless you're willing to fully commit.

If no one is calling amd he wants to continue then he very well could take a 1 million dollar deal

PP specialist. Good work ethic, not a fit for all teams.

Jagr is going to the highest bidder. He will live wherever. Edmonton doesn't have the cap to be the highest bidder.

My guess is Jersey.

I still say he needs to play for the Islanders and finally complete his tour of the Patrick division.

I'm certain his phone will start ringing eventually but it doesn't really make sense for GMs to be pursuing him now. Time is better used chasing down guys that will solve problems long term, not a guy that is a one year luxury/stopgap.

It would be nice to see Jagr finish his career where it started....with the Pens. You know he doesn't have that many seasons left with how fast the game is and how slow he is.

Maybe 10 years ago, the travel/climate in this area is not something he would prefer at this stage in his career

Highly doubt this. He would leave the NHL. Jagr wants to play with the scoring lines. Nobody is going to play Jagr $1 million while allocating him a spot in their top-6.

It's a no brainer. This is why he isn't getting calls, IMO.

Phone hasn't been ringing because Jagr is officially slow as molasses. If he leaves Florida, he won't ever see top-6 time again.

Jagr is officially slow as molasses , then just imagine molasses in 40 below . Don't need a player that is pass his best before date .

Edmonton needs to bridge Draisaitl and go all in . Would have about 3 or 4 years before they would need to trade him

Do not blaspheme so. Say 100 Hail Connors (one for each point he blessed us with this season) and donate a tithe of $97.97.
