Im going, pretty sure in the RSU. Saturday night, I'll be givin errrrrr

Not an RSU game night. but there might be some rowdier fans in 319 since we still get discounted tickets for other games

Just for curiosity , are there Karlsson chants? And if so-what are they?
Karlsson or EK -cant be Erik as Gryba and Condra would assume it was
for them.

CAAA PTAAAIN KARRRRLSSSSSON CAAA PTAAAIN KARRRRLSSSSSON ....

Definitely need to take advantage of a team that's going to be playing their second of a back to back on the road.

Yes, we do and should, given that they play Calgary the night before and have a flight to get to Ottawa that night or early the next day.

Believe coach just said The Lehner is getting the start, on the radio.

Good, giving both goaltenders games alternating keeps both involved, active and sharp. I can see this changing as the season progresses and hope Maclean plays the hot goaltender(better save percentage) as the season evolves.

Relegated to sportsnet 1... AGAIN.

3 more intermissions and a post game filled with talk about only the Leafs. Loving this new TV rights deal.

It must be a cost-saving method to avoid losses on their new broadcasting contract! Why else would Rogers force Don Cherry on markets other than Toronto which he clearly favours! I like Ron, but Cherry has long past his best before date.

I mean it was like this before - one group for 3-4 simultaneous games... it's just that it was never quite as blatantly pro-Leafs... at least the CBC threw us and the other smaller Canadian markets a bone...

Yes, I know it was like this before. I didn't like it then and still don't. Rogers should improve on the CBC broadcast and provide either a separate targeted intermission show for each team's market, or produce an intermission that is not biased for the Toronto market, with time dedicated to each Canadian team about equally.

It is interesting to note how Columbus is not getting the money it thought from its casino partnership. Lots of casinos in the states closing, i think the infamous Trump towers in Atlantic city is on its last legs. Big casinos are reporting lately that they get most of their money from shows and dining and stuff now, not from gambling. Not the cash cow they are some times sold as i guess.

With Lehner and Anderson both playing so well, perhaps its not win and you're in, but lose and you snooze.

I was sure i heard a north side sucks chant at the last game, but it was a noisy room, maybe i misheard.

OK: I just missed a week of hockey while on vacation in the middle of nowhere with no Internet.

What did I miss this week? Who has looked good? Bad? Better/worse than expected? What do I need to know going into this game?

Let's see if we can regroup and work hard after an emotional win. Columbus is skating really hard every night and we need to match their intensity.

Hope to see Cowen back in the mix. I would give another shot to Patty and let Cowen draw in for Gryba and play his limited minutes.

Going to be a tough one. Columbus made their bread and butter by being one of the hardest working teams in the league. Can't afford to have a slow start or drift against them.

Chiasson and Lazar are doing great

Others have looked meh although Ryan really picked it up after scoring a goal

Phillips looked great until the home opener

Both of cowen and Wiercioch have been bad so its not really a big deal if either or are in the lineup

Condra looks like good ol condra.
9MM looks like last season.
Zibby is playing decent and has spurts of higher talent.

Lazar looks great out there I think he played 15 minutes and basically got us back in the Colorado game.

Stone looks really good and makes a lot of smart plays

Cowen sat the last 2 games

Legwand has not killed it for sure but got us a goal we needed.

Karlsson Is trying to do too much but people are hard on him because of status.

Andy and lehner both look pretty decent.

At times the team are having trouble. They're getting better but still some old problems all around.

about last summer.
Did Mark Dano and Sonny Milano make the Jackets or just a 9 game tryout? Or because of injuries?

Dano played the first 3 games. He is also AHL eligible. Milano broke his face in the tournament before the season. He'll get sent down to juniors, if he hasn't been already, once he gets medically cleared. Since the cbj are missing so many forwards due to injury, Wennberg, Dano, and Chaput all stayed at the NHL level. All 3 are technically rookies. No idea what the coaching staff and management are going to do once guys start getting healthy.
