I don't think anyone legitimately would pick slafs over Hughes at the point in time, regardless of injuries. Hughes just has a different skill level that sets him apart, and unless slaf somehow turns into this power fwd beast that leads mtl into a real threat, in my opinion, using the same age method of statistics is moot.

Sure but Hughes was physically under matched at the same age,

Sure Slaf has finally had a decent stretch here but this poll is really premature.

I say this as a guy who thinks that Hughes really got overhyped this past offseason and in the first 2 weeks as well.
