So my wife and I are big Detroit Lions fans (apparently I like crappy teams) and have been waiting almost a decade for a weekend where the Devils had a game in Detroit the same time as a Lions home game. And it’s finally here! This will also be our 24th NHL arena visited. Hoping this team doesn’t let me down…

So my wife and I are big Detroit Lions fans (apparently I like crappy teams) and have been waiting almost a decade for a weekend where the Devils had a game in Detroit the same time as a Lions home game. And it’s finally here! This will also be our 24th NHL arena visited. Hoping this team doesn’t let me down…

Don't get me wrong, I realize the team is playing like garbage but might as well root for success. Like the players a lot, think either the coaching is a bad fit for taking the team to the next level or they are a young team struggling with NHL level tactics and counter tactics from other teams. Probably a mix of both I'd guess.
