Speculation: Islanders' next coach

Who would Lou be looking at. The rumor I've read is, even though I find it hard to believe, that Trotz is gone from Washington, win or lose. Is Lou being pro-active here waiting for Trotz, if he's actually available? If not, who might he be considering?

I dont know how Trotz leaves (unless to leave coaching entirely) if they win. Why would he leave and why would they fire him?

His contract is up after this season, and there have been no (publicized) talks of an extension. Rumor was that Reirden was being groomed as his replacement
