More to do with the Islanders have been overachieving for over a year now since their hiring of Trotz and are now realizing their roster talent is actually pretty weak

Now that their guys arent 100% committed and trying defensively (which is never realistic in sports no matter how much youth coaches say it, guys take shifts off) they are bottoming out and scoring almost no goals
