Five points behind Nashville and they've got a game in hand on us, need to keep on winning, especially against the East and at home both of which we've struggled at mightily this season.

We need to shut them out in the first period. I always feel like Varly gets better and better as games go on, unless he lets one early. It would also be huge to get the first goal in front of the home crowd to fire the boys up. I'm calling a Mitchell snipe to open it up! Go Avs Go baby

Hopefully they are able to keep up the intensity from the last game. No shortcuts. Not for this team.

65-16-1 is still a pretty good record. We just have to win out and we will have 131 pts. I think we do it. :yo:

Also, by that logic, if 95 pts. is the cutoff then we can only lose a maximum of 18 games in regulation the rest of the way. We need to continue with the strong play as of late. I think it will take 5 more wins on this streak (without a loss) to get into a playoff position.

I think it will be less than 95 in the end. More like 92-93. Nashville is fading and only on a 95 point pace.

I'll take that. I'm worried we'll lose this in regulation and the Oilers game in OT after that great divisional run.

Its my name day so its an almost guaranteed Avs win. In fact when the Avs play on my birthday they have only lost twice since 2003 and both were to Anaheim and one of the games was an OT loss. We will win Saturday!!!

Did Redmond's goal in the last game guaranteed him to be in the line up for the next two months?
