I didn't watch the whole game by any means, but what I did see looked like a pedestrian level McDavid. I know even last season he'd have off games, of course, but he just doesn't look as.. well, typical McDavid-like. I have seen chatter that he's injured.

Think this is a game you can tell a lot about the team. Mediocre Islander team having lost 7 in a row should be desperate. Flames hopefully not too fat and happy off of one victory against the Canucks.

I'm talking overall puck movement stuff. Although, you're right... If you meant just finish ability alone. I've seen flashes of okay movement but it's not consistent enough for me.
