Mitch Vande Sompel, the defenseman with a name like the preppiest rich kid from an 80s teen movie takes the #11 spot in the rankings. MVS had a respectable 29 points in 58 games in the AHL last year and hopes to improve on his game and make the big club.

I went Skarek who could be a diamond in the rough. I wanted to go MDC but I honestly think hes done. Should just stay in the AHL and get paid to play hockey as long as he can. Real shame. The skill is there, the skating simply isnt, and I think hes also a p*$$%. I think we'd all even take Brock Nelson as his upside at this point, and even that is unlikely. Shame. Can't coach toughness and grit.

I voted for Rathgeb. I am a bit shocked that he has not come off the board already. The guy is going to surprise some people this season, I feel.

Picking a fight
Hold up, take back my vote to add Pivonka.

Add Johnston. He's still Calder eligible and should definitely be considered a prospect if someone like Ho-Sang is.
