I believe he will be to old, he is turning 21 on April 20 2013. A team can sign him but he wont be eligible for the 2013 NHL entry draft.

He came to the Oilers rookie camp last summer with David Musil (his teammate with the Giants). Thought he was decent in my viewings of him, nothing special but could turn into a fringe NHL player/steady AHL defender. Love his name though.
