Yup, just doesn't have the speed and strength to compete in the NHL. Has an NHL quality shot, but can not get to, and maintain his scoring spots. He is this generations incarnation of Bruce Boudreau, who was a damn good AHL'er before he was a coach.
My favorite is that TP supporters always want him to be put on an NHL teams PP unit, as if then he would magically transform himself into an NHL'er. Those spots aren't given away, they are earned.
