Good businessman, terrible sports owner.

He got the Oilers a slam dunk arena deal but until he hires a decent GM, it's all for naught.

If we had a hockey GM as smart on making hockey deals as Katz is at business (completely took city council to school and leveraged them perfectly to get a hell of an arena deal for the Oilers) we would be a Cup contender.

If we had a GM who was as ruthless and smart at making hockey deals, we'd be in very good shape.

History? No, a lot of you guys don't follow other sports if you think Katz is worst ever.

He's the worst owner right now. Even Ottawa has had better success last 10 years with their garbage owner.
