Is it kind of unfair that the Rockets have a NHL player on their roster?

I mean, Leon Draisatl didn't have the greatest rookie season with the Oilers, but he has a good amount of NHL experience behind his back now. Seems unfair to me that he was sent back to the WHL to compete, especially when his team went on to win the WHL championship and quite possibly the Memorial Cup.\

I haven't been following CHL too closely, but it seems like he's weighing in pretty significantly for his team in points.

no it's not wrong ; if at his age he is good enough to be a borderline nhl player all the merit goes to him..

Quebec had Anthony Duclair and that didn't get them to the Final. One player with NHL experience isn't going to change everything. Once they get sent down, they're a Junior player.
