NHL 19 Is it just me or...

So I did not play much NHL 18 last year; however, in NHL 17 I was in Division 1 in HUT and had been on 30+ game winning streaks.

This year seems like something is off. I can't get passed Division 6 and it isn't because I feel like I am getting outplayed. People will lob in wrist shots from the blue line, contested, that will go in ALL THE TIME on Billy Smith. I played a guy the other day that scored like 6 goals on 8 shots- none high-quality scoring opps.

Am I missing something?

Yeah HUT’s a bit different this year not being able to rely on the poke check and spam hitting, playing defense is completely different for some.

In 18 I was one of the top players in the world in 19 I’m just a slightly above average div1 player.

My defense has not been as good, but it is more the fact that 50%+ of the goals I give up seem to be total BS goals that never should go in.
