Like for real? They might not be a top contender, but they can compete with any team in the league. They have one of the best top six group of forwards in the league, and the one piece they are looking for is another top 4 Dman. Boy PC would certainly help them get there.

The question was would adding Voynov make them a legitimate cup contender and the answer is unequivocally NO.

What does competing with any team in the league during the regular season have to do with anything and who the hell is PC and what does he/she have to do with the question?
