Ottawa x3 certainly helped. It’s helping everyone right now, hey I miss that team!

I think more time needs to be had but at the same time it was kind of an overreaction to begin with. As was comparing him to Gretzky/datysuk too

I didn't even know he was in a slump. How long has this been going on?

Still struggling for HIS standards. One timer is NON existant, passing is off, confidence still not arrogant enough. Suprisingly his hitting is above zero, so thats good. But is improving and NOT worried

EP performance this season vs each team with their divisional ranking as of today listed in front:

Currently in playoff spot
1. Leafs: Hasn't played them
2. Habs: 1 point in 4 games
4. Jets: 1 point in 1 game

Not currently in playoff spot
5. Oilers: 1 point in 2 games
6. Flames: 0 points in 2 games
7. Sens: 4 points in 3 games

So 3 points in 9 games against teams not named the Sens, a 27 point pace over 82 games, and a 109 point pace over 82 against the worst team in hockey

Yeah and it gets even crazier when you include the games he played against the other Canadian teams last year. 27 games played resulting in 4+5=9 points. 3+3=6 points of that came in 5 games against Ottawa. So that leaves Pettersson with 1+2=3 points in the last 22 games he's played against the other non Ottawa Canadian teams. Ottawa is the only thing keeping this kid above water at the moment...

He is coming to slay the Leafs. :D

Why? EP isn't a McDavid, Mackinnon, Matthews, Drai, Eichel level player. He's not even a Marner level player who would be in the group mentioned if he was a center.

BTW, his FO% has regressed every year since he was a rookie, currently under 40% which is horrid. Nucks might not be getting the 1C they thought they were after all.

Bro we are having some fun here. He is due for a monster game. He also hit the crossbar 5 times.

You must be a leafs fan. Only you guys put Matthews on the same tier with McDavid. :)

He looked pretty good in the 3rd period vs the Habs. But the team was horrible. He looked speedy over all. Could this be more due to playing on a substandard team this season?
