My friend always got his name on his Hawks sweaters, I never really got that either, but to each their own.

Meh. At least a custom jersey will have more longevity than a standard legit player jersey wouldn't since that player would likely be gone from the team soon enough (and will not have any significant legacy), while you are sill around in this world and will likely have not switched alliances. Oh well.
