Draft season is officially over,but that doesn't mean no more mock drafts until the new season!! I've decided to make a Redo your Roster's Mock Draft (Credit to GingerJesus28)!!!! Please only sign-up if you are committed to making all your picks (including in the later rounds)!! Best of luck to all!!
- This will be a 20 round mock draft where only the GM's (users) can post actual draft inquiries (like posting trades and picks). At the end of this draft,you MUST have 12 Forwards (4 Centers,4 Rw,4Lw),6 Defensemen,And 2 Goalies on your roster. I suggest you base you draft on those numbers because it may be difficult to trade for the positions you need. If you draft a Left winger,he MUST play Lw. Players that can play Center as well as the wing may play either!! There will be no salary cap in this draft!! When commenting on other Gm's moves,please do not post anything negative as i don't want others to feel bad about their decisions. I want this to be fun for everyone involved!!
- The Draft order will be randomized on random.org/lists. I will put all the team in, and click randomize.The order i post will be the first randomization! The draft will be a snake order,so if you have the last pick of Round 1,you have the 1st pick of Round 2 and so on.
- The draft window will be 24/7 with a midnight to 8 am (CT) bye time (so no one will be auto'd at say 3 am). All selections will have a time limit for you to make your pick (6 hours). During the time slot of your selection,you may select any current NHL Player,NHL Prospect,or 2015 NHL Draft eligible prospect. You CANNOT draft players like Kovalchuk,Filatov,Raldulov,Etc. Once the time expires,I will auto-select the Best Available Player based on my player Rankings. Each Gm will get 2 auto-picks. If you are auto'd twice,you will be relieved of your duties as Gm of your respective team and the team will be placed on auto-pick for the remainder of the draft.
- Trades of either draft picks or players can be completed at any time. In trades however,there must be an equal number of players and draft picks going to each team (So you can trade say Crosby (1st) and your 20th Rounder for Toews And Okposo if both teams agree). Either team can announce a trade once agreed upon via Pm (please Pm me as well so I could post it up on the trading thread). Also, please try keep the trades reasonable. I don't want Gm's to be upset about anything and want everyone to be happy and excited to take part in this mock. Be mature, please. Any stupid trade that is just way too far off in value, and i get multiple complaints about it, the trade will be vetoed.
- When drafting a player,you DO NOT need to look into if they are a Free agent of not as there are no contracts involved in this draft!!
- After You Pick, Please Pm the Next Gm to Notify Them!! In Your post,Please add Something As simple As "Sent Pm to the next Gm" or something similar. It takes very little time and it will help make things go by faster!!!!
