Rick Nash - Concussion
Sean Kuraly - Upper body but likely concussion
Riley Nash - 40 stitches in the ear

Rick Nash and Sean Kuraly were ruled out tonight but have been skating for a few days.

Riley Nash took a puck to the ear and couldn’t put his helmet on.

We got word today that all 3 are hopeful for Game 1 on Thursday.

Fast forward 3 weeks and there are 14 more threads describing each injury in nauseating detail and how it will impact each team moving forward.

Leafs are fully healthy after Dermott returned in the final game. That lineup will be the one used for Game 1.

I know Stamkos is out right now for Tampa. Seems unclear on if he'll be ready for Thursday.

For NJ, MArcus Johansson is still day 2 day with a concussion but he's been practicing with the team and will likely make a return during round 1.

Spurgeon should be back. Suter is done for the season not even quite sure he will be ready for the beginning of next season.

A fibula fracture shouldn't take more than 5 months to heal. It's not even a weight bearing bone. Not sure where you came up with this??

It’s not a fibula fracture. He can’t put weight on his leg for 3 months. The Doctors told him if played any other sport is career would be over.

Boston:

Riley Nash won't play in game 1.
Rick Nash and Sean Kuraly are expected to play.
Anders Bjork and Brandon Carlo are done for the season. Carlo, in particular, is a huge loss.

The Bruins and Anaheim have had the worst luck with injuries this season. It's amazing that Boston did so well, all things considered.
