Although it is interesting, it is also very irrelevant.
During the original six, they only played a
maximum of 14 playoff games (2 series) so, achieving 20 points was not very likely in 10 or 11 games. (Although Howe did it in 1955 and Mikita pulled it off in 1962)
Lafleur led the playoffs in scoring three times, that is more impressive than some arbritrary "20 point" number.
Everything requires historical perspective.
And, just for you Chooch, Gretzky led the playoffs in scoring 6 times, including 40 points in 1993 with the LA Kings.
