Leafs fan here, just wanted to let you guys know that i'll really miss kessel on the leafs. Hes one of the NHL's great game breakers, I can't even imagine what he'll do when his centre is upgraded from Bozak to Crosby/Malkin. He may not go to the dirty areas or engage in physical play but thats ok because it results in him never getting injured so you always have an elite offensive player in your line-up. Hes got very quick feet and knows how to get into his favourite shooting lanes where he can find the corners with arguably the best release in the game. Hes also a creative playmaker who can make pin point passes and he is deadly on 2-1's. He loves to circle back to his own blueline picking up speed and receive a pass in the neutral zone to attack with momentum. He tends to get down on himself when things don't go his way and lets his frustrations effect his game. His defensive awareness is below average but it is not terrible.
