Seriously, if this Jesse tool finds a way to make Vrbata scoring a bad thing (by forcing us to listen to his ****** country song) I'm seriously going to be pissed.

We need an anti-brigade to counter the brigade he sent to the Canucks Facebook page. Can someone lead the charge? There are like a million other songs that would be a better choice.

It would be a pretty massive failing of the Canucks media team, or whoever are running this show...if they somehow fail to realize what's going on with that dude's song, and trying to get a free plug for it here. Total sham.


That said...for Radim, it's gotta be...

Goal songs don't need to be "good songs" just fun/catchy/energetic.

People were too hard on "clutch". In terms of being a goal song it was a good choice.

That being said I've been wanting this for a while, individual goal songs is a very fun idea.

Who the heck is Jesse Roper... Are hockey fans really hard core country fans? Even among the younger generation?

Agreed, it isn't the greatest goal song and wouldn't be the best choice. But to jump on him because he and his fans think it would be cool to have as the goal song shows exactly why BC has had almost no good bands come out of it.

It's not a problem with Country Music...it's an issue with someone trying to scam the system for a spot of free personal publicity.

That wasn't even really "promoting themselves", it was effectively spam. A very dishonest way to try to get attention.
