In 5 years time who will be the best NHL player from this draft class in your opinion?

Kane? JVR? Turris? someone else?

I would guess Kane.

It has to be Kane he has done the most already. Couture and PK will have the next 5 years to try to catch up to Kane.

Cherepanov's name all over this thread is sad. I forgot how devastated I was when he slipped to where the Leafs would have picked.

in 5 years I see Kane becoming a large part of their organisation.

Ya I'd say a Stanley Cup winning goal is a large part of the organization.

Kinda funny to look back and see how few times Kane was mentioned. JVR and PK are probably the most likely to push him, but as of now it's really not close.

The Gistedt comment was probably the best one. Not sure if the original post was serious or not but it's golden either way.

Jamie Benn is a guy that could be one of the top guys from this draft as well.

Im the guy next door
Well, 2011-2012 will officialy be 5 years of the 2007 draft, so dont write Turris off yet. He could still end up as the 2nd or best player when all things it said and done. Well obviously Im bias but :D

Funny how Jamie Benn was the 129th pick in the 2007 draft and as of now, he's probably the second best player from that draft after Pat Kane.
