M87 is a massive galaxy (three full orders of magnitude more massive than the Milky Way), so that makes sense to me.

To me this is amazing and I just can't understand how there are people out there that think the earth is flat or that there is nothing beyond our atmosphere and that space does not exist. The speed of the plasma we see is a mind blowing at 300,000 km/s. Or the speed the suns around it move at, 24000km/s version our sun's 230km/s.

As anyone with ANY sense knows ... it's all a universe-sized rear-projection illusion ...
