There were some funny stats posted on twitter a while back showing how Caggiula never made a successful pass to McDavid leading to a shot in all the time they played together last year. Can totally see that in Caggiula's game when I watch him now. Multiple times on a shift just now he could have passed to Pulju who was in flight going faster than him, and Caggiula just keeps the puck and ends up losing it.

We are much slower than the Rangers, especially defensively. I think McLellan coaches defensive zone structure instead of chasing loose pucks and sticking tight to your man. It's exactly the opposite strategy of what works.
