It has been very much a team effort. Think you could go with Kessel, Bonino, Sid or Murray and it would be OK either way.

For me, I think I go with Murray so far.

He is 13-4. We are 1-2 without him starting in net.
He has a 0.926 SV% and a 2.13 GAA. 4-1 in OT.

He hasn't needed to be miraculous often, but he has provided dependability and consistently made the saves he had to with games on the line. Something we are not used to. More than that, I think he has had one game all playoffs where he was not good, and in that game the team in front of him stunk a great deal more until it started a fight back in the 3rd.

I'd go with Kessel. However the powers that be that choose this kind of thing usually have a very short memory so it could easily go to just whoever is the best in the finals.

Hard to say right now.

1. Kessel
2. Crosby
3. Bonino

That could change in the next few games.

I think even Murray will garnish discussion, especially if the Pens sweep.

Way too early still.

For anyone actually watching the games and not scoresheets; It'd be Crosby. Even when he wasn't producing (round 2) he was still playing outstanding defense and just playing excellent hockey in general. He just was snake-bitten.

If Crosby continues what he's doing so far this Final, it's him.

Would love to see Kessel get it though.

My thoughts exactly.

Kessel winning would be great because of all the crap he has gotten but I doubt he wins. Would be very nice story if he did.
