Who would win the tie-breaker? The Jets or Kings?

Both teams would finish at 40-35-7, with 37 Regulation/Overtime Wins.

The end result will determine whether the Jets draft #10 or #11. The Flyers leapfrogged the Jets with the point, from the loss to the Hurricanes in the SO a few minutes ago. A regulation win by the Kings and the Jets will draft 10th overall.

Kings still win the tiebreaker. Better head to head record against the Jets.

The Oilers are pulling away with a 3-1 lead over the hapless Canucks. With one period to go, all the pressure is on the Ducks to break the 2-2 tie. My dream result would be to see the Kings knock off the Ducks, giving the Oilers the Division title and the Jets the #11 pick.

*EDIT* 2-1 Oilers. Vancouver made a successful challenge on the Oilers goal. Ruled "Offside."

Forgot about the city that does not deserve an NHL franchise.

Any group that can put up $0.5B'ish or so deserves a franchise. Don't like it? Put up yer own money and situate a team in the "right" location yourself.

I've never understood the "sanctity" of the location of hockey teams. If you want a strong league, you want hockey in non-hockey markets. If you disagree with this, then we don't have much to discuss.

In any event, it's OT for this thread. Ducks just beat the Kings in OT, I think we pick after them now. C'est la vie.
