Judging by how Ruutu is still regarded as the #2 forward prospect after Spezza even though he has had two bad injuries, it would suggest that Ovech would still go #1.

You mean like missing an arm or leg? He'd probably drop to the #5-#10 slot.

Depends on the injury. If its something that can be completely healed and and should have no long lasting effects he will still go #1. He was head and shoulders above everyone else before the year started, missing the year will make little difference.
