Karlsson. Offensively gifted, top-notch outlet passer, high hockey IQ, and is quick enough to cover large expanses of open ice.

Next I would pick Duncan Keith.

I'd like to see Kuznetsov. Would probably feel like playing on the big ice again. Dude has some moves.

A Rangers line of Hagelin, Kreider, and McDonagh would fare well with their speed. Nash would do well, too.

Kessel. He's so fast, he'd work very well with that extra open ice.

Krug, Spooner and Pastrnak looked pretty great when they had a chance to play 3 on 3 against Tampa. Three smaller, fast guys with skill.

When he makes the NHL, Athanasiou has been a one man wrecking crew in this situation in Grand Rapids.

In the NHL I think the most dominant guys are actually going to be the D-man like Doughty, Subban, Keith and Karlsson. Their skating ability will be really hard for the other team to match. Those teams can go 2 forwards and one D and ice elite skaters with elite offensive and defensive ability. That is going to be the harder matchup.

Though having watched it at the AHL level, you will have guys that have this particular talent start to make their way into teams, just like shootout specialists when the shootout came in.

The incredible burners create a lot of chances, Grand Rapids actually generally rests Athanasiou through the opening part of overtime or gives him one shift but saves him for the 3 on 3 because he is lethal on it.

Lots. It would make the game way more exciting. Every team has guys that would thrive.
