Just stumbled upon this game and its very intriguing to me. I don't want to get too hyped as that has led to some big disappointments in the past (No Mans Sky) but I can't help it. The concept just seems way too cool for me not to climb aboard the hype train.

Hard to get excited about a game like this when you know that even if it does become playable it will at best be in beta for 10 years.

Say what you will about No Mans Sky, they sold a game and it was refundable.

I'm just not a fan of the crowdfunding business model because they can take your money and go home at any time.

I do like that its not a crafting game like We Happy Few became. That was one of the more bizarre things I saw. Nothing about it said crafting survival, I'm 99% sure they did that purely to get it playable for early access.

Legit concern about crowd funding ah83. I've funded a few games on older platforms and haven't had a bad experience yet, but there is always a first time.

To this point the worst thing is the wait - you basically give them $$ and wait 3-5 years. Been worth it though.
