Rooting for Trotz once again, Avs regulation loss means Nashville clinches.

Murfreesboro is a fine town. My Dad lived there a couple years while getting his masters degree at MTSU back in the 80's. Spent a couple summers there visiting. Had a blast. RIP Opryland.

Actually....considering Mojo hasn't scored since that Chicago game in which he got his bell rung by Toews. Give him a game to watch.

Unless broad is Ovi's HF account, I think it's just a joke. You should be able to spot jokes, especially on April 1st :D

Amen. I've been waiting for these lines back since November.

Does Colorado have any Philly grade punks to be concerned about? I assume not, otherwise Philly would have overpaid for them already duh.

These desperate teams we will face to close out the year should have us on guard.

Sounds like backstrom out tonight

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, he's clearly not firing on all cylinders and needs a reset. On the other hand, it could be another nagging injury that carries over into the playoffs.

Literally my only anxiety going into the playoffs. Pretty confident everyone else is willing and able to step up. Even a hurt Ovie can be dangerous when it's crunch time.

I was kind of hoping to see Latta and Galiev tonight. I don't really care who'd be out as the coaching staff knows better who needs a rest. Seems like a win-win to rest few guys against Western team, and to get those fringe guys some ice so that they don't have to step back so cold if the time comes.

Maybe is has to do with the headshot Giroux gave Backstrom last game?

I'm really glad that the NHL did the important work in fining Chimera for a butt-end that could at worst cause a bruise, but when a Flyer contacts Nick's head well away from the puck it's a Good Hockey Play™

I'll wait to pass judgement until I hear the comments.

Could just rotate through resting guys. Though I doubt it.
Could be a nagging injury and just wanted to get some rest.
Could be sick.
Could be a stinger from that Schenn collision or the Giroux headshot and just decided not to rush it back.
Could be something a little more troublesome.
