Because injuries are a part of the game. Furthermore, it wouldn't be fair for him to get credit for Grabner's points that happened before he even had him on his team. It's not fair that someone should be able to pick up a hot player just because someone got injured, while others (like myself who has Stepan who hasn't done ****) get stuck with nothing.
Personally I say there should be no injury replacements now that the tournament has started.

I hope we're not serious about swapping players after the games have started.
I even think if you drafted two goalies by accident, then you're stuck with one goalie and the other is a wasted pick. Shouldn't have happened at all.

If you're adding someone then I think at the very least the points should only start counting from that player after you add him(i.e not retroactively getting points)
