What is HUTDB? A project started last year, evolving from a basic price guide to a full list of every player in Hockey Ultimate Team. Updated for NHL 14, the database sees classic features return, as well as plugging in a few new ones. This is a complete list of statistics / attributes for NHL players in the NHL '14 game mode HUT (Hockey Ultimate Team). It serves as a database for completing collections, filling spots on teams, and more!

List of features:
- Full player list - Wonder who you're missing for a collection? Wondering if a player is in Hockey Ultimate Team?
- Collection mode - Easily track who you are missing and who you already have.
- Team Builder - Simple tool, utilizing basic functionalities of excel. Analyze and sort statistics to find the ideal fit for each spot on your team. Build your true Ultimate Team!
- Statistical Comparisons - Wonder who has the best faceoff*? Wonder who the best skaters are in the NHL? Looking to build Team Sweden for the upcoming olympics?
- True Overall - Avoid that pesky new overall system! Find out what overall your player would be if they were calculated as they were before. See how they compare HUT overalls vs core overalls.
- Special Edition Cards - Keep track of HUT Live players, Milestone players, Winter Classic editions, Facebook giveaway cards, and more!
- Online version for those without excel, as well as the option to download PDFs or OpenOffice files.

I am also looking to clear out my HUT collection. I was going to a while ago in exchange for getting my legend 3 goalie but decided against it. I have about 2 million pucks on hand and most of the NHL teams complete and intact. I think Giroux is one of the only top end guys I don't have right now. This is for 360 but I would like to get Playstation Store credits as compensation if possible. Please message me as I'd like to get rid of all this soon so I can just move on to my PS4 completely.

After 2 weeks of frustration bidding on HL98 Toews(sickheads kept on pulling them off the market+not accepting my trade offers including TOTY97 Toews+300K), things have come to an end. Since I had to work last night from 6pm-midnight I wasnt able to bid on a HL98 Toews near the end(expired around 9pm), so I decided to bid on him 3 hours before the auction ended. At work I was pretty sure my bid of 1.296.900 should be enough, just to come home & see that someone bought him for 1.296.950 :rant:

But then I found another one after midnight, and the dude accepted my offer of TOTY Toews+250K, when he saw his Toews stuck at ~1.15M in the last 20 secs. I know its terrible to pay 250K for +1, but thats the way HUT works when it comes to the TOP rare cards.

Also made some changes on my D over the last couple weeks, so this is what my team looks like right now:

So I got an untouched(3 pre-owners) POTG Price for auction(690 K starting price). He's a Sochi POTG card changed to Edmonton, still untouched, cuz my bro only plays friendlies with his team. I'm still not sure if I want to use him for my team, but looking forward to get some nice trade offers or 200-300K FIFA coins. Lemme know

I need to beef up my defense, I love the players but I have problems against larger physical teams. Let's make suggestions!

Doughty-Suter pairing is great. Both big players for your defense.

The secondary issue is getting pucks. I am barely keeping my team afloat with contracts, so I don't have the cash flow to buy either of them. I only have 1.9k at the moment.

Got knocked out of d1 in a bunch of one goal games, ran the table to a d2 championship, got told a lot I suck and how the heck did I even get to d1, often from folk I beat, lol.

Issue with my roster is I tend to get crushed (physically) on entry into the zone by the hedmen and buffs and Bogosians. How should approach zone entry so I can set up without sacrificing my wingers to chip to my center, sort of tired of using heals on kane, Karlsson and Duchene.

Work by the boards. Then cut to the middle or drop it back to the point once you gain their blue line. Throw it around the boards if nothing else avails. One of the moves I like to do is go down low, drop it to the point, let the opponents attack and than throw it back down low and go to the net. Very effective.

It sounds brutal and I hate players that abuse it but you probably need to circle back a few times until you've got him out of position. I didn't play that way but there are few left that are legit in terms of gameplay IMO. Either that or flip dump and chase.

Thanks, I get good results dumping it low and working it around, but lately I've been guilty of skating straight to the icing line and running out of room, making a desperate pass cross the net to no one.

Not sure about you but I only seem to get matched up with level 25+ who just love to skate in circles unless they have a clear path. Ends up being even in shots while they have 3x TOA.

I've found one method that usually works most of the time. If your breaking out down the boards with your winger, once you hit about center ice look for your center or d-man that's following you up ice and make a drop pass. These will sort of freeze your opponent and the guy you passed it too will have some speed and usually you can find a hole. This works for me most of the time so I just thought I'd leave a little tip.
