HUT Thread, Part 33

What is HUTDB? A project started last year, evolving from a basic price guide to a full list of every player in Hockey Ultimate Team. Updated for NHL 14, the database sees classic features return, as well as plugging in a few new ones. This is a complete list of statistics / attributes for NHL players in the NHL '14 game mode HUT (Hockey Ultimate Team). It serves as a database for completing collections, filling spots on teams, and more!

List of features:
- Full player list - Wonder who you're missing for a collection? Wondering if a player is in Hockey Ultimate Team?
- Collection mode - Easily track who you are missing and who you already have.
- Team Builder - Simple tool, utilizing basic functionalities of excel. Analyze and sort statistics to find the ideal fit for each spot on your team. Build your true Ultimate Team!
- Statistical Comparisons - Wonder who has the best faceoff*? Wonder who the best skaters are in the NHL? Looking to build Team Sweden for the upcoming olympics?
- True Overall - Avoid that pesky new overall system! Find out what overall your player would be if they were calculated as they were before. See how they compare HUT overalls vs core overalls.
- Special Edition Cards - Keep track of HUT Live players, Milestone players, Winter Classic editions, Facebook giveaway cards, and more!
- Online version for those without excel, as well as the option to download PDFs or OpenOffice files.
- The other leagues will be in upcoming versions.

So whoever was asking about Buff, yes he's ridiculous. His interference penalties are probably 33% of the penalties I ever take

That would be me haha. Ya seriously though, I'd be skating down the ice. He'd be completely offscreen and I get a penalty called... I'm honestly getting tired of it. Any suggestion of who to replace him with?

Ah, misfortune of having the last post in the old threat. Reposting this.

So, my team has gone unchanged for a while now since the last time I posted an update. I'm actually away from my 360 until next Monday, but I have been perusing the auction house on the app for potential upgrades. I'd like to have something new to come home to, but I only have 15K to work with. But that's fine since 15K is also the most I have ever spent on a player.

So I'm putting the challenge up to you guys. Looking for 1 or 2 players to add with 15K.

MOV Moulson - Lecavalier (A) - Callahan

HL Ruutu really stands out to me. Didn't realize the price got that low. I loved playing with the regular version and was kind of bummed when my team outgrew some of those guys I played tons of games with.

Also, after the TOTY would anybody be interested in doing a highrollers tournament? I figure since most people will have their teams roughly finalized that it would be a good time to do a quick tournament where all players are allowed. 25-50k buy in with 12 people.

I just sold Byfuglien and just picked up HL Carlson. He's 6'3 212. 88R looks very solid :nod:

Edit: Maybe Dougie Hamilton should be considered also.

I have 2 questions guys, if you could please help me out.

1. Does 99 chemistry really matter? My team was currently at 95, and seems fine to me. Just wondering if there is anything special about 99 chemistry.

2. Can anyone recommend a set up for a new team? Just sold my entire collection and have around 500k now to build a team with. Thanks!

2.Take advantage of all the cheap hut live guys. Elias, Ruutu, Jokinen for example. Some solid players with big time speed going for peanuts

1. I can't prove it but I can say when I got to around 97/98 chemistry my team finally made it to Div 1 after 53 seasons. coincidence probably. my teams gotten so much better while improving chem

I never believed that boosting a goalie made much of a difference because this game mode is so random, but I was always boosting 81/80 overall goalies, and Sochi Bob was doing really well for me, so I decided to throw two +5 alls and a +3high on him with a 15 duration.

He went 2-6-1, with 7 games missed due to fatigue :laugh:

Never boosting a goalie again.

So did MS MacKinnons' price rise since yesterday? I saw him going for 110k-120k and now he is back up to around 150k.
