Ok, but switching Jarvis and Fast doesn't affect the 3rd line at all, and makes the 1st so much better

I don't think Brind'Amour likes his lines being too one-dimensional unless injuries necessitate it. The whole point about Jarvis being attached to Staal and MartyParty is that Jarvis drives his own offense.

I mean, Martinook-Staal-Fast was our 3rd line for most of last year and a good portion of this one. And they were very, very effective at what they did.

Seems odd to not return to that line when given the opportunity. Especially when we're going to be playing Toronto, and we'll need that shutdown line MUCH more than we need any offense that 3rd line might produce.
