Rumor mill has it that this is connected to the Raeford airport, but y'all know how that goes. Gonna be interesting to read if they ever let details get out.

I'd sure like to hear the rumors since I have close ties to the folks flying the CASAs for USASOC. Unless the SF guys in their silly motorcycle gang sold him drugs and he was a jumper because he knew he'd pop hot upon the NTSB post incident drug test, I don't see a possible connection.

Imagine having the ability to shut down a government agency and you pick the ****ing British postal service.

I think they take the opportunities as the present themselves. IE, "Oh, British postal too cheap to invest in a SIEM or a SOAR? Say Goodnight, comrade!"

I realize the FAA system is garbage and could have crashed on its own, but its a little much to think that the same happened to the Canadian version on the same day. And the British thing.

All I know is some software sales guy is about to clean up on a huge deal with the Department of Transportation pretty soon.

Alternate theory: this is all part of an elaborate plan by a British postman to explain to his wife why he wasn’t at the office when she called.

Well, I called Saudis buying a college football team or two, but WWE? That goes right to the heart of Redneck America right there. Very very interesting.

WWE officials are now denying it, because of course they are.

"Vince McMahon did 9/11" would be an incredible heel turn, I must say.
You want a heel turn storyline for a Saudi prince WWE owner?

In his first act on camera, he buys Ted DiBiase.

Well, you're almost definitely more in the know than I am, so take this with the appropriate shaker of salt, but:
That wasn't what I was talking about (though you can still count me firmly suspicious of the whole thing), the speculation I heard was that this was buzzards of the Thacker/Lavigne vintage coming home to roost. Who knows though, just people talking.

Oh THAT Raeford thing, lol.

They just need to put a ban on SOF guys either joining or creating their own motorcycle gangs, I think that'd put the kibbosh on a lot of this crap.

I ran into an old “buddy” of mine yesterday and we got to talking about the Ft. Bragg roundup, he was 82nd. He was speculating that a fella by the name of Tubbs and some of his shitbrained friends from FL are involved in this somehow. My buddies dad was really hooked in with that group, I’m pretty sure he served with Tubbs in some capacity. Don’t know if he’s still affiliated or not, buddy didn’t say, and I didn’t ask. Although this current thing seems a little above that groups mental capacity.

While my buddy was still living at home with his parents, I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Tubbs a few times about 25 years ago. He was probably the most arrogant, paranoid, loudmouth, racist asshole I’ve ever had the displeasure of being in the same room with. A few years after that buddies old man got busted in some weapons and drugs smuggling mess and ended up serving about 10 years. I do know that whoever he was tied in with were all ex-military. And they kept the family well fed while he was on the inside. Wild times!

Seidenberg was definitely an underrated d-man for us but as a gear junky that posted on ModSquadHockey for a long time I will always remember Seidenberg for his T-blades. I almost bought a pair just because of him.

Is there an HCanes gear thread? I attempted a search a few times but it always returns an error. PEBCEK?

Has anyone picked up new skates recently? Curious to hear any feedback/suggestions on boots, blades, new fit systems, baking, and how you may be liking or disliking.

Anyone spring for custom skates? My feet are standard issue and don't necessarily require it...but I'm partial to skates made in Canada.

I work in one of those buildings. It’s not a bad walk. The only time I’ve ever seen them charge for parking was when the fair was in town, although it’s possible they also do it for football games.

Can also confirm the Bojangles parking lot has been used for fighting purposes at least once.

The other night I was a passenger in my buddy’s car … he used the fairgrounds parking, closest to the underground walkway. It says “no parking” but I guess they don’t tow? There were probably 50 cars there at least. Free.

I can second that. On the rare occasions I drive- I use that lot and the tunnel. Nobody gets towed. And the walk is hardly any longer than parking at the edge by the NC State training complex.

The uber situation I finally have figured out- I have them come in from Blue Ridge (avoiding beltline- taking a right onto Trinity and right into the rideshare lot on the right hand side. Too easy.

Then for pickup I walk to the Backyard Bistro and summon from there, which they have no problem finding.

If you do anything else with an Uber- you are cruising for a bruising. I spent 2 hrs after a playoff game against Nashville as Uber after Uber canceled as their marijuana addled brains were unable to find entry into the arena lot before I said “never again”
