Can either of you calling for Meech to be benched give an actual reason? As a #6 D he's looked pretty good. I was a bit distracted during the Pens game but haven't seen anything in his other outings that would cause for people to want him benched.

As for the chants... leave the "blank" is better BS alone.
Last time we chanted that at a Stall he lit us up.
It's no longer fresh, creative or funny.

I'm sure someone will start something worthy of a Jets crowd that isn't a retread of an old chant that already backfired against this club!

He gets pinned in the zone a lot and has trouble getting the puck out.
He pinches as often as Byfuglien but a lot less comes out of it.
He rarely get's his shots through traffic.

Because of this, when he's on the ice the Jets have their worse:

GA/60
SF/60

He is also the most out-shot defensemen on the team by a LONG shot (shots for/60-shots against/60). Here are the only negative guys:
Clitsome -2.9
Stuart -3.0
Meech -11.1

He's without a doubt the worse of all Redmond, Postma, Clitsome, Stuart and Meech.

On MTS too. I know we got a notice saying that there would be upgrades, but you'd think they'd do this in the middle of the night and let it not interfere with the Jets. I also got charged for the Jets channel for the month of January. Shaw customers didn't get charged.
