Give them credit where credit is due: they toned Carolina's attack down midway through the second period. Completely took control and care of business in the 3rd. Great effort to finish the game.

I guess if you are going to play one really good period, the 3rd is the best one to do it in. Kreider doing the things! Bounce back games for Stepan, Klein and to a lesser extent Zucc. Thought Lundqvist was good.

This should have been an easy win with Leighton in net, and the Canes never win at MSG no matter how bad the Rangers play.

What I don't understand is we just played them on Tuesday and it took them until the 3rd to figure out how to play the Canes.
