Shepard is already 28. While it's possible that he becomes the next late bloomer success story (ala Lindgren), it seems a lot more likely that he'll be a great AHL goaltender and NHL #3. Clay Stevenson is the prospect that most Caps fans are more excited about in terms of Hershey goalies.
