I think you just gotta pay him whatever hes asking more or less, unfortunately. Not like you can strongarm him and tell him 6x6 or youre walking. They need him.

Recency bias is so strong here though, how much has his price gone up based on 2 playoffs series?
He still hasnt played more than 44 games in a regular season. But it is what it is.

Id be okay with 7, anything above that wouldnt feel great but I still think they gotta do it.

I think it will be done before FA, because they need to really define what they have to spend in FA. I think somewhere in the 8 million range is about right, anything less is a steal, but it might be a bit more
