He currently leads the U17 Championships in scoring playing for Team Ontario, ahead of guys like Gilbert Brule, Brock Bradford, Guillaime Letendresse, Daniel Ryder, Peter Mueller, etc.

Has anyone been at the tourney and seen him play? Who does he compare to?

It's interesting today that Team USA lost to Team Quebec considering Quebec didn't look as strong coming into the tourney as they have in past years.

Also wins by Team Ontario and Team Pacific tomorrow and they will both head to the semi's, along with probably Team Quebec and Team USA.

I have not seen Ontario play but I will see them play on the 3rd and 4th.
I can't wait to see Brule.

Yes it was a weird day at Mile One.

Quebec beat USA 4-1 after losing to Atlantic 6-4 who lost to USA 10-3.
Atlantic lost to Germany 5-3.(Momentum went down after Quebec win)

Ryder Rocks!! What a goal he scored!!

3 point night for Brule..I think he has the most pts now.

Nope... according to the stats at HockeyCanada.ca, the top three are:

Andrew Cogliano (4g, 5a - Team Ontario)
Nick Foligno (4g, 5a - Team USA)
Guillaume Latendresse (3g, 6a - Team Quebec)

Brule and a handful of others are tied with 8 points. He has 7 goals and 1 assist.

Blah, blah, blah...it all comes down to goals, it wins you games and Brule is the runaway sniper of the tourney with 7 goals. Brule is still the 2nd best 2005 draft class prospect behind Crosby.

Are you from Ontario?
