They have been in most of these games until the end. They are trying to compete, but it is becoming more difficult as other teams take them more seriously.

Their roster isn't a great deal worse than the 2011-12 Coyotes; who won their division and made the semis.

The Vegas roster is significantly, dramatically worse than that Coyotes team.
