the canucks have traded schneider, burrows and hodgson to philly for JVR+ Couturier.

JVR provides us with a good young powerforward who should become a great player for us.

Couturier is an excellent 3rd line player for us. hes still 19, and will be an upgrade. in a few years he'll be a monster.

burrows was an easy loss. hes just the guy the sedins had chemistrey with. im also a fan of toughness, which he didnt have.

schneider was a backup on this team, and would be for a good while.

hodgson hurt to lose. but he likely wouldnt be that good if he played against better defence then the 3 rd line plays against.
