I was expecting a Bruins vs Rangers fans type of situation. You know. Mike Milbury taking off some guy's shoe and hitting him with it! How disappointing!
I only saw 2 security people at any time. They needed help to clear away some of those fans, especially the big mouthed ones. Two guys walk out the #1 troublemaker and come back for #2 and #3, if necessary. Other security people stay between the fans and players to prevent more trouble. The kid with the short hair and the dark hoodie needed a ride to the local jail!
He threw the object that struck #32 in the forehead.
Then the row behind the players bench gets emptied. The fans who are not unruly can get an empty seat elsewhere. Two or three security people stay behind the bench for the rest of the game. The off ice problem is solved!
There was a lot more talking in English and French than I expected. Two of those hockey players looked like they wanted to kill somebody; anybody. The team with the blue jerseys acted like real jerks out on the ice. The ref and linesmen seemed to be clueless on how to handle things. The linesmen need to grab a pair of guys and escort them off the ice or to the penalty boxes. Then get the next pair!
