It's nearly impossible to predict.
Things that stand out :
-No Voracek for the Flyers
-Malkin surpassing Crosby on the centre depth chart
-McDavid playing for the Lightning
-Successfully predicted Kuznetsov being lured to Washington by Ovi
-Predicted Burakovsky breaking out

I especially like the predictions on prospects drafted 1 or 2 years into the future, such as Spencer Watson, Blake Clarke, Jake Virtanen going 3rd overall, etc.

I also think he did the Crosby thing because he expected Crosby's PCS to linger into the future, hence the "when he's healthy" bit.

Oufff. Imagine TB with McDavid....

Habs one isn't terrible.

2 of those obviously won't be there in Collberg and DD but the rest is pretty solid IMO.

Some of these are really brutal. Leafs top six looks absolutely abysmal  I also can't get over the fact that the writer had the Lightning doing so poorly for so long... may have been justifiable at the time, but it's pretty funny in hinsight.

What happened to this guy? The writer predicted him to go 5th overall a year before the draft, and he dropped to 209th??? I don't get it. He had a pretty respectable year last year, in his draft year... how did he fall so far? I get that he's small, but still...

I really want to know his reasoning behind picking Zach Hyman to break out and become a top line winger when at the time he was still largely playing a bottom 6 role in the NCAA. Its kind of cool because Hyman did actually break out this year, although he is still a long way away from being an NHL mainstay and isn't going to sign with the Panthers.

I'm not sure how (or why) the writer expected Brendan Woods to be a Top 6 forward for the Canes.

These results are funny, but im not sure anywhere here could make a better one. Look back at ones from 2013 on HF predicting rosters.
