Highest Salaried Player in ECHL history?

Riku Helenius was reassigned by the Tampa Bay Lightning from the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL. He had initially refused the assignment as is his right since he isn't on an ELC contract but TB just sent him home and eventually he changed his mind and accepted the assignment.

Helenius is on a one way NHL contract paying him 650k a year. Have one way contracted NHL players played in the ECHL before?

He makes more than twice an entire ECHL team's weekly salary cap.

More like still. He played for Steve Martinson here in Elmira in the 09 Kelly Cup Playoffs. I think he got one or two starts and was horrible. Too lazy to look it up to be official but if he played 2 games he gave up 10 or more. I remember for sure he gave up 5 in one game, just cant remember if he got a 2nd start
