NOTLD with the 8th spot on the list.

Our top-10 is very close to this one posted today on IndieWire:

The Best Horror Movies of All Time | IndieWire | Page 11
(it's actually a top-110 - with obviously a lot of questionnable stuff, but still a list of 110 great to ok horror films)

Going by this, the chainsaw massacre should be next here.

There was an 8-way tie for next entry in the 60s poll. I put them all in, not that I think it will matter much.

HF's best horror films of all-time
1) Alien (Scott, 1979)
2) The Shining (Kubrick, 1980)
3) The Exorcist (Friedkin, 1973)
T4) The Thing (Carpenter, 1982)
T4) Halloween (Carpenter, 1978)
6) Psycho (Hitchtcock, 1960)
7) Rosemary's Baby (Polanski, 1968)
8) Night of the Living Dead (Romero, 1968)

I don't feel like a winner after watching it. In fact, I feel like that's 80 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Thanks for introducing me to a level of trash that I never knew existed, Violenza ;).
:blah::biglaugh:

You don't realize it yet, but you are a new man. Where's the review? I want to see it in the last movie thread!!
