HF's Team Board Mock Draft

Hey everybody. There's always variations of these every year on this site. The idea is to try to reach a consensus for who each team might pick would the fans of that team be in control.

This does not take into account any previous polls before it. Only the results of this poll will affect the numbers going forward.

There's around a month & a half left until the draft, so there will be 48 hours for the first 20 picks, and 24 hours for every pick after that. Obviously, we're only looking for the fans of each team to vote on their pick. This also assumes no trades will be made between picks.

Joni Ikonen would be the highest ranked available player on my list at this point, but he wasn't listed so I went with Lind. I'd also be down with Thomas, Joseph, Jokiharju or Chytil.

Torn between Thomas and Jokiharju. I like Thomas but because of that Tippett pick (which I really don't like) I'm feeling like we may want to go D here. If we would've taken Necas, or Pettersson, both of whom are Centers and both of whom I like a great deal more than Tippett, I'd vote Jokiharju. If we took Makar, who I like more than anyone on the board at 7, Thomas would be my pick here. Thy latter scenario would be ideal. Taking the winger at 7th is really wrenching my gears at 23.

Timmins and Jokiharju are consistently ranked from 20-30 on a good number of lists, and I know for a fact that Timmins is rated over Thomas on Button's rankings. Not a reach to go for either of these RHD at 23.

I'm not against a d at 23 or either of those guys. I've said before that there should be decent dmen available there. I was more commenting toward the if-then "we absolutely need D with the 23rd".
We need pretty much everything. Shouldn't factor.

Well, I don't think we necessarily need LHD or LW. That said, that wouldn't prevent me from taking guys like Comtois, Formenton, or Safin at wing or Phillips and Farrance at D either in the 2nd/3rd.
